Soul Food is dedicated to all my readers in hopes that what I have to say will give you a kick start to your week. This weekly column will come out every Monday morning with little snippets of info that I have gathered throughout my week. I will share with you personal lessons & stories that I hope will empower you, make you laugh, give you some spiritual food for thought and get you through your week. Thank You for allowing me to serve. ~ Eva Starr
I've been writing an on-line column called Soul Food for years, and just this past year (2011) I've had the pleasure and the opportunity to write a spin-off from my original column (a Q & A) for The Journey Magazine.
Here are the archives for that column:
Jan-Feb 2012 ~ Finding Your Purpose & Is the Universe (God) Against Me
Nov-Dec 2011 ~ Forgiveness & Living in the Moment
Sep-Oct 2011 ~ New to Spirituality & The Bloodsuckers in Our Lives
Jul-Aug 2011 ~ Being versus Doing & Free Will & Kids with Addictions
May-Jun 2011 ~ Moving forward to Your Good & The Secret of the Golden Key
Below is a small excerpt from one of my weekly on-line columns which goes out to my database every Monday to give you a Kick-Start to your week. To subscribe to the on-line column see sign-up block below.

If You Get Nervous, Focus on Service
As I was meditating this past week on everything that was going on in my life and how overwhelmed I was, especially with all the projects that need to be completed within the week for school, I drew the above Angel card "If You Get Nervous, Focus on Service."
That's one of the things I miss most about not being in Cleveland is teaching. Teaching and coaching all of you helped me in more ways than I can count. I come alive when I'm teaching and helping you, it feeds MY soul. So this week, I encourage you to reach out to me, email me if you're feeling down, frustrated, confused, or you just need to talk.
I will leave you with this verse from Simon & Garfunkel:
When you're weary, feeling small, When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all. I'm on your side when times get rough And friends just can't be found, Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down. Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down.
Just call me!
With Gratitude,
